This fund has been set up in tribute to our father, Mick Gething, who died in 2012 of an aggressive form of lung cancer. Mick was a hardworking man, a builder who wanted to provide the best for his family. He was all to aware of the dangers of working on construction sites, and so designed and patented a skip cover to reduce dust and airborne pollution. Sadly Mick did not see the cover brought to market before his death. The dust and debris generated on building sites can represent a significant danger to the lung health of both workers and often the general public.
